Arrivals By Air

There are many airports in and around of London. All major London Airports are identified below, with instructions on how to travel from to Central London by public transport. (As driving conditions are usually slow, and public transport services are normally very good in London, you are not advised to hire a car during your stay unless you wish to travel outside of London. City Continental Kensington London does not have a car park. There are NCP car parks, but these are expensive. Due to congestion on the roads, train and underground services are normally substantially quicker than travelling around London by bus, particularly Monday to Friday)

HEATHROW AIRPORT

Heathrow is situated 13 miles (20 kilometres) west of London Earls Court.
There are rails, tube (London Underground Service) or bus services from Heathrow into Central London.

By Train:

The quickest option is to catch The "Heathrow Express" Service; a non-stop over ground train service to Paddington. Trains depart every 15 minutes and journey time is approximately 15 minutes. The first train leaves Heathrow just after 05:00 the last train leaves just after 11:30p.m.

By Underground:

Heathrow airport has 2 underground stations on the Piccadilly Line, one station for Terminal 1, 2 and 3 and one for Terminal 4.

Average journey time to Central London is approx.40/45 minutes. Tubes run every 5 minutes at peak times and every 9 minutes at off peak times and weekends. The fist train to central London leaves at 05:04 (05:47 on Sundays) and the last one at 11:47p.m. (11:57p.m. on Sundays).

By Bus:

Most coach and bus services operate from Heathrow?s central bus station, which can be reached by the subways linking Terminal 1,2 &3. The central bus station is well signed posted from all terminals and is located next to the London Underground station for Terminals1, 2 & 3. There are various bus companies that run from Heathrow to London Victoria (London?s Central Bus Station). The National Express service calls at many west/central London locations, Earls Court included before terminating at London Victoria Coach Station.

London black cabs are available at Heathrow airport for travel within and around the London area. These taxis are metered and a trip to central London will start from around GBP 38.00 (if you don?t get stuck in traffic)

GATWICK AIRPORT

Gatwick airport is situated 28 miles (45 kilometres) south of London Earls Court. There are rail and bus services form Gatwick into Central London. There are 2 terminals at Gatwick airport ?North? & ?South?.

By Train:

The Gatwick Express train service runs every 15 minutes during the day, and hourly (35 minutes past each hour) during the night. It takes 30 minutes to travel to London Victoria. Access to the Gatwick Train Station is easy from both North and South terminal. Follow the signs on arrival.

By Bus:

Most bus and coach services lave from London Gatwick's coach station on the ground floor of the South terminal. There are various bus companies that run from London Gatwick to London Victoria. The National Express service calls at many south/central London locations before terminating at London Victoria coach station.

STANSTED AIRPORT

Stansted airport is situated almost 38.9 miles (62.7 kilometres) of London Earls Court. There are train and bus form Stansted to Central London.

By Train:

The airport railway station is situated below the terminal building. The Stansted Express runs every 15 minutes from 08.00a.m to 17.00p.m. Weekdays, and every 30 minutes early morning, evening weekdays and weekends. The journey time is approx 35 minutes to Tottenham Hale Station (underground service Victoria Line to Victoria & District Line To Earls Court time approx 10-15 minutes) and 45 minutes to Liverpool station, Central London. From London Stansted the first service begins at 06:00a.m. every day and the final train departs at 23:30p.m.

The Coach Station is located in front of the terminal forecourt. The National Express Bus operates between Stansted Airport and London Victoria coach station. Calling at many north/central London locations en route

By Taxi:

Stansted Airport Cars has a desk on the international arrivals concourse.

CITY AIRPORT

London City Airport is located only 13.7 miles (22 Kilometers) from London Earls Court. A shuttle bus service from the airport to Canning Town connects passengers onto the Jubilee underground line.

Alternatively, taxis are available outside the arrivals hall.
